Thanks for all of the suggestions!
The guy at the RV place recommended a V6 Chevy 1/2 ton with the Allison transmission (said they use this tranny in the $300k Class A RV's). I'm not a big fan of American cars but they definitely have the juice to pull the load.
Do any of you have Chevy truck breakdown/maintenance stories?
