you also MUST be careful about "spa-flex" because there are multiple items sold under that general name, and some of them are not actually flexible PVC. I got some from Custom Aquatic and it looks extremely similar to the real stuff, although it is a little more flexible and a little more shiny. That stuff WILL NOT glue up to standard PVC with standard PVC cement. In fact I have tried hybrid cements with poor results as well. CA had no idea that they had the wrong product.
