I have Ehiem wet/dry filter that hasn't been used in months. It got left in the closet full of stagnant water for a month or two and I wanted to clean the crap out of it(pun intended).
Should I do a bleach solution? Vinager? At this point I think it needs to be sterilized with the tank it's going on. If I used a bleach solution I could then use dechlorinator after rinsing.
How would you clean your wet/dry cannister so that you knew it was trustworthy once again?
