if u feed u lion a lot maybe it will last longer but I belive in the end he will eat the shrimp,I got a red pistol shrimp right now on my tank with a banana eel tiger eel v-tail grouper and a shy hamlet for over 2 years so far no problem but pistol shrimp knows how to really take care they self and hide
