It only took me 6 times to get it right!
Oh well, I stuck with it and finally got it right. Thanks for the idea. My coral seem to enjoy the alternating current.
Not completely understanding, what needed to be accomplished, was my biggest problem and it took me multiple attempts to "figure" out exactly what the problem was. Not anyone's fault except mine; just my lack of vision.
All the gears and spring ended up falling out and I didn't know where they were supposed to go. Good thing I had another timer laying around or I'd never have gotten it back together again.
Getting the cut/bending mod right, was the most difficult part. I had trouble getting "contact" points adjusted just right after making the mods. They weren't contacting,
at any time, after my first couple of attempts and the pump wouldn't start.
By the way, which powerhead are you using? Do you have multiple ones alternating in your tank?
