What a year in the PAC 10. Middle of the season and you have -

UCLA - playing a third-string, walk-on quarterback for over 3
quarters (and who is going to start next week?),

Cal starting a second-string, freshman quarterback,

USC starting a second string, first-college-game quarterback,

Stanford starting a first year quarterback,

Washington, first year freshman quarterback,

Oregon State, first year, red-shirt freshman quarterback.

What a mess! No wonder there are consistency issues!

You have to feel for the Cal QB. He made a bonehead play that cost his team the sure tie, and with all the momentum in Cal's corner, they probably would have won the game and the #1 ranking. How would you like to show up on campus and be the guy who cost your team the #1 ranking in the nation?
