hopefully coravue will fix it for a decent price...

hopefully coravue will fix it for a decent price and i can make usps pay for it. unless this was a factory defect it definetly got damaged during shipping since it is a new ballast.

and not only that it appears that they had yellow rubber of sorts between all these donut things and it melted part of it *i'm guessing b/c it was broken to begin with.

ok i got it open. it seems a donut looking thing that is wrapped in wire is completely disconnected from the main circuit board. is this fixable?

The torch coral is in the big tank now. we had to do some moving around. It was in a coral holding tank if you will with the clowns. The clowns are doing much better. Their fins are all healing up...

Kyle mailed me a a coralvue 400w ballast from ohio. it was used off of someone on here. well it came in the mail fine, i wired it up. plugged it in and it fired the bulb. I left to work and came back...

I still think the light change might help. if your bulbs are ending their life anyways i would change them. Also do the water tests like suggested

i would suggest another type of tang. yellows are very agressive and you will have problems adding other tangs later in the future

i would definetly steer away from yellow and...

i would definetly steer away from yellow and purple tangs. they are quite agressive especially if you ever want to add more fish in the future for any reason. there are many horror stories on these...

are the coris' very agressive though to other wrasses? i think i remember hearing that. they are amazing at eating bad stuff though. I think it's rokle m that has one but he keeps it in his frag tank...
