I seem to remember that you can wedge a paper...

I seem to remember that you can wedge a paper towel into a part of the Remora and it dramatically reduces the noise. It's been a while since I sold mine, so I don't remember where it goes.

Good to hear calkrog. I don't know what it is in Tech M that's doing it, but it's working for a lot of people. Doesn't seem like it's just magnesium that does it.

Frezel, those are great photos and that is definitely bryopsis. I wouldn't worry that you don't see a change on day 2. I didn't notice a huge change until around day 4 when I got mine to over 1600ppm...

If your nitrates and phosphates are still 0, what's there to worry about? If you can't keep those at or near 0 with normal water changes, then I'd worry about the skimmer.
