The chiller is perfect ... my max variance in temperature is 79.4 ~ 81.9 which was recorded by a temp. probe. It's really quiet too.

Sponges can collect lots of garbage but they need to be rinsed every so often. Carbon is cool cuz it'll absorb other garbage and help with water quality, also needs to be replaced every so often.

Yea ... with a DSB you get a lot of detritus stuck directly under your LR but what I've been doing is just gently jiggling the rocks every so often which helps release that detritus and it gets...
