Oceanic is so out of wack balance wise and I hope they changed their mix some. It caused many people on this site algae issues and other wierd issues. It does mix very well though.

I'll be going through this during this tax season. I sold a second house in July. I waited 1 day after a year to pay so my capital gains is only 5% of the profit which isn't bad at all.

I'm thinking he had the drain closed to find any leaks so it filled all the way up. Either way that over flow is really high. If hair algae or anything stops them up, what a mess. :)

I've never used it. Never personally saw a reason to. Seeing the glass get dirty a bit quicker doesn't bother me. As long as the corals look beautiful and grow, why add another variable to my tank.

I used to buy Tropic Marin for 90 dollars for 300 gallons. I now stick with Reef Crystals. Cheap and on sale quite often. The only one that really sucks is Oceanic.

Go to Home Depot and they have sander ply. It is very smooth and paint grade. You can also use birch but do NOT use oak if you want no grain.
