Should be 1" and 3/4" bulkhead fittings that is the pipe size. Actually hole DIA will be: 1-3/4" for the 1" and 1-1/2" for the 3/4"

If what you have is working and you like it. Don't change it. If you plan on adding more fish/corals lps/sps then a sump/fuge may be an option.

I would say A attaches to C for each leg. C&A then attach to light body via the A side. They should then slide along the light (rails on light body) to change...
