I forgot to say in the above post that the WB was on auto in all cases. I find that it gives a pretty accurate representation when left to it's own devices. I'm not sure if this is a feature common...

Thanks, that fish is an Atlantic Blue tang...in Juvenile colours. If you howver your mouse over the pics it should give you the common and latin names of the subject in question.

I'd second the fact that the 100mm 2.8 will take...

I'd second the fact that the 100mm 2.8 will take some extra getting used to over a standard lens. It's a heavy little lens and needs some practice to keep steady. Some say you should use a tripod...

One of mine from a few weeks back, I was shooting in between the lighting rack so hard to get rid of glare..there was alos a pump that couldnt be turned off so some ripples too :)
