ok so i'll make the story quick.....
my friend bought a used 300g from someone about 2 years ago and set it up about 6 months ago. just last night we realized that the glass braces on the top...

the most common thing they do is put leaks in the overflow boxesit's a pita too. i've seen 2 tanks since jan. get messed up by worms... crazy

it's an oceanic cube 20x18x20 with the black frame.
it doesn't seem like it would make a diff. if i didn't have that black plastic rim on top of it.
can i take it off and just have it be...

i know it isn't exactly a clownfish but still i thought it was neat. the first domino was supposed to be food.... he saw the lion and jumped into the anemone. so i addded 7 more.

i think the ballast that are running mine are rated for 150somethin watts of HO t-5..... i've got 2 of em running 4 39watters..... im pretty sure you'll be okay.
