I almost went T5's on this tank but then I read they wont really penetrate really deep for SPS. I plan to keep minimal rock so my stags can grow tall like Leonardo's Fermosa Forest.

Have you checked out the lumen bright reflectors...

Have you checked out the lumen bright reflectors thread? It appears that you can raise the lights higher and have better par deeper into the tank. This allows for good par with out having the bulbs...

well today I turned off the recirc pumps and filled up my tank and the water level didn't change inside the skimmer body at all. So I don't think it's the return being submerged and the water level...

I saw some labled as pendants for 5 bucks more...

I saw some labled as pendants for 5 bucks more than the reflectors but was was told their the HQI reflectors by those on the thread. I really want pendants!!
