You probably don't want to use it. Most packages of frozen fish food indicate that it should not be re-frozen. It's just not worth the risk.

Agreed. You don't want to dip your live rock in freshwater. Some people use hyper salinity of up to 1.035 to remove unwanted pests from live rock with good success.

michaeltwana: I don't have have alot of experience with cowfish but I know they are toxic to the entire tank when they die. Also, they feed on invertebrates, so they're not suitable for reef tanks.
