good point. I already ordered the 10k reflux bulb...
good point. I already ordered the 10k reflux bulb though, so will try it out tommorrow. If the new light doesn't look good I will look into a new ballast.

Just wanted to share some pics. I got my blue strip pair about 10 months ago when they were both about 3/4 inch. Now, the female is a little over 3 inches.

She is eating pods off the rocks. I haven't spent any time trying to get her to eat mysis and dont have cyclopeez. She is healthy and eating though and will do fine in a large tank without feeding.
