i tried injecting boiling water {in the syringe} into them and they usually cam back....
try the pickeling lime ....after they've "eaten it" they will retreat into their hole or body.

thanks...i believe with the less dense cultures i would be able to use what i need without over producing or waste....you say that there is higher nutrient levels vs dt's...dt's say not alot is...
