Lots of people use super glue or super glue gel. The gel is generally easier to work with in the marine application. I think I read that as long as the glue is cyanoacrylate it is tank-safe.

Yeah, I would definitely contact the manufacturer (or even the vendor) before using that. Even if they said it was ok, I'd be leery of it.

My flame angel does just fine right under a 150w MH pendant. It loves to play around in the high flow near the powerheads, and has only bothered my zoanthids to date. It picks at them more for fun...
