Why not get a vortex, I have 1 on my tank on half power and I get little sand storms on the far end of my tank 6' long -- on half power.

I think I will continue buying my fish from elmers. I would rather see the fish before I buy it, since what looks good to one may not to another.

It couldn't hurt, I myself wouldn't have a system without a skimmer. Have you checked in the bottom of your filters to see if there is food breaking down in the bottoms?

You may have to wait alittle, if you just recently removed your undergravel filter you probably disturbed alot of stuff. If it where me keep and eye on the level and do 10 -15 gallon water changes...

I have them soaking now in clean what debating if I sound just go buy more rock. I'll let it soak and than air dry for a day and add some to tank over 3 days to play it...

You know your water isn't the issue, your test kits you said where good. Kinda looks like it may have something to do with your filters...

I was set on the Euro RS250 until I measured from the bottom of my sump to the bottom of my tank. I than figured I could get away with the RS180 till I found a used ASM G-3 with an extra pump(new)...

Yea your right, but I can't fit a RS250 under my tank,at max I can get a 27" -- 28" in sump skimmer, The RS250 is 30" which sucks. :(
