So i take it when u say gravel u mean crushed...

I had one of these! But he was too docile..almost...

I had one of these! But he was too docile..almost got harrassed to death by my seahorse til i was forced to return him..besides, the cost of frozen seal was running me to the poorhouse. Oh well...

So wat's the recommended depth for a DSB in a FOWLR? Deep enough (6") so the fishes can only disturb the top most layers? I'm not using southdown just normal 'beach' sand that's been sterilized....
