Golden Dwarf Eel supposedly is reef safe.....very very small and very expensive (gymnothorax melatremus). Lot of eels can and will escape, so be sure it's escape proof.

My sump usually has 6" or 7".
I installed my skimmer yesterday afternoon and had a thin layer of dark skimmate this morning.

The answer is "no". The small and medium use an Eheim, and the large and extra large use a newer pump. It's my understanding that the newer pump requires a larger body to work well.

Chromis seem to "unschool" when they get used to your tank. I've had good luck with glass cardinals (the ones with bit of purple on their eye area)....they've stayed in school formation in my tank.
