Might put to much pressure on the pump, but i dout it the only way to know is to try it out. ;) You'll just have to raise the water level to the base of the riserr tube.

Might work, but you might be asking to much of the mag9.5. The flow will be cut almost in half with the neddle wheel impeller. Try it out see how it works.;)

Injector is 3 holes around one center hole. I've run mine with a maxijet 1200 and a hagen 802, works very good. Maybe it still needs to break in.

IMO this design kick the spray injections butt. I would use this skimmer design on any size tank, just more or less pumps. (biiger or smaller)

You have to remember i'm running it on a 15gal setup, i put all the overflow output though. Works out to about 450-500gph, and i've found the water level should be just at the base of the riser tube....

All correct.:) I'm not sure on the out of sump skimmer never wanted one. But i do know the mavijets wont like to be out of water. They will heat up pretty badly.

I gravity feed my venturi skimmer, i used to run my air stone skimmer gravity feed as well. Works great as long as the water level is constant.
