It's funny that you bring this up, I just pulled one out of my 75 that was around 2 1/2 feet after looking in a hole and seeing it for the first time...

I would just run a filter sock or similar item on your overflow and see if it helps clear things up. Also some carbon could help.

It was about 8 inches below the surface under 4 overdriven t5's running each day, then I also run a 400 mh for a few hours a few days each week. I would say medium/higher flow.
