Its been growing slowly, not causing any harm (yet)......one dismantled when I was doing something in the tank, so I took it out.......it seems that they are hard and hollow.......

FWIW.......my sun coral has taken over the top and sides of the rock it came on, so I found a piece of LR that the Sun coral would fit into almost perfectly and glued it to that......it should...

I had a Coral Beauty that lasted about 2 days in my tank......not only did he pick on corals, he also bullied everyone into hiding spots. He went straight back to the LFS.......: )

FWIW, the only time I have ever seen my Candy Canes tentacles out is late at night.....about 2 hours after lights out. And the tentacles are a decent size, it would be hard to miss them......HTH : )

For what its worth, Ive seen many different people keeping different Euphylia species next to each other. Also, I have a book by Julian Sprung, in which he says it isnt a problem. HTH : )
