What are the disadvantages of using a crushed limestone sand vs. an aragonite sand?

Would limestone still buffer the water to some degree? Or is it too hard?

A few things to consider:

Checked for cracked bulb.
Are you doing regular water changes?
Photo period?
What is the temp swing?

It may be monti cap eating nudibranch. Look for small, frilly, white worms. If it is you can stun them in an iodine dip and pick them off. Check for eggs on the underside also. You may need to...

To measure the pappone - Pick up a meat injector at your local grocery. Most have marks on the sides to let you know how much you have picked up into the injector.

In Texas

In Texas a license is required by the Department of Agriculture. They oversee all aquaculture commerce and coral farming falls under that dept.
Usually if you can get in touch with 1 state employee...

Brass Fittings for plumbing safe?

After 2 years of reading this is my first post! :)

Are brass fittings safe to use for my topoff water setup(reef tank)?
I know copper is not safe and brass is made from copper and zinc(i think.)...
