It's been almost six months, is the S denitrator still performing well for you? How did your refugium and chaeto hold up with the reduced nutrients? What is your routine for keeping the ph up.

I have found the zebra turbos to be non-stop grazers and very durable. Mine I've had a couple of years now and have grown to about 4 inches across.

If you are talking about the "Limited Edition" Mike Paletta's Purple Porites, then yes it looks just like the picture. The one I got from LA was totally brown when it arrived and took a couple months...

Bouncing off 86 once in a while is ok. Most things can even withstand going quite a bit over that. Stylophora and Seriatopora are not among them however and will be among the first to not fair well...

After two mag 7 burnouts, each after only about 6 months, I went with a quietone 3000. It's been running about a year now without issue and is at least as quiet if not quieter.
