Sounds like you rescued a "bleached" rose. God going. Just feed it and it'll eventually split for you. I soak my food in Selcon befoe I feed the bta's.

I have a table saw that i use to cut it with. Just make sure it's a carbide blade with lots of teeth, or a plywood blade but feed slow. If you have a circular saw, get a fine toogh blade as well...
