I got lucky and my LFS took my condy back after I got it back to good health. It was well mannered, didn't eat my fish or sting anything. Got $10 for it. :)

My tank raised ocellaris haven't taken to my RBTA. I'm approaching the 1 month mark. I have two ocellaris, both about 1.5-2" long and an RBTA about 7-8" in diameter.

Okay, so I fed my RBTA twice within the past few days then performed a 10% water change. Crossing my fingers, hope this thing splits.. it's getting pretty fat. :)

It actually looks like it has more zooxanthellae in the last three pictures (maybe heatlhier); unless your first picture is just over exposed. My RBTA get's stringy/inflated throughout the week...

Could you take some pictures of the entire tank? I'm interested in picking up this skimmer as well, but would obviously prefer to have it hooked up to the rear chambers of my 24g NC.

You can try to increase your feeding frequency then perform a WC to encourage a split. My BTA is about 6" in diameter too and I just might give this a shot. :)

I like the markings, but the bulldog look isn't attractive at all. :( You're right, I wouldn't dish out $180 for these either.
