cool experiment... I'd say the longevity depends on whether there is any algae in there to oxygenate the water... A month so far is pretty impressive. pics wold be cool!

Thanks Harley, I am sure going to miss him! I've had him for about 2.5 years, and he has grown from 16" to just over 2'. He's had his own 120 gallon home and is a constant source of entertainment...
