I've seen them before but I dont know a name. They spread pretty quick and some people say theyre parasitic but I havent EVER seen one on a coral... At my old job we always had like 10 dozen in this...

Well, I know that Tropic Marin is comign out with a reef-tank salt. I forget exactly what the dude at MACNA said but i think it has lower alk levels so that calcium can be more easily...

Well... if you want to pay like $3 a gallon for water then sure. I've never used it and have great success with corals and fish on synthetic, so I figure why change?

Mine ranged anywhere from half inch single stalks to 3in double or triples, doesnt matter as long as its big enough to band to a rock. As far as rippign them off, yea, I just peel from the base.
