I've seen them before but I dont know a name. They spread pretty quick and some people say theyre parasitic but I havent EVER seen one on a coral... At my old job we always had like 10 dozen in this...

Mine ranged anywhere from half inch single stalks to 3in double or triples, doesnt matter as long as its big enough to band to a rock. As far as rippign them off, yea, I just peel from the base.
