you are supposed to vacuum detritus out of ssb's from everything i've heard. especially in sps tanks- detritus anywhere means less coral color.

i wish there could be some more info here to analyze each problem... birdsnest is usually easy- but it doesn't encrust very much just goes straight into vertical growth- it falls off its frag plug...
