So far, I haven't had any other fish show signs but it is early morning right now. I will see at lunch if any others are dying. The tank is always well oxigenated with the water almost boiling on top...

Cliff, just make sure you set your white balance or your pics will not look like the tank. The white balance will make whatever your kelvin lighting is look white.

That is the standard lens kit for that camera. You can buy additional lenses later on. Use the packaged one until you get a feel for the camera and sten step up to a better lens with a good macro.
