10k i think i read is optimal for growth but not color. Where as a 20k is good for color (more blue) and less for growth. Have a couple myself under a 14k and they are in between not brown but not...

Yea i've been thinking bout switching to the 20k but I've read the 20k gives better color but less growth. At the other end a 10k will give more growth but less color. So i'm guessing my next bulb...
