If you stack the rock so tightly that it inhibits your flow, you can have issues. If you have adequate flow, and enough swimming room, go nuts!

Play nice, he's looking for help now. Agreed on the tank being too small. I'd start with checking all my levels, pH, alk, ammonia, pretty much everything.

When my urchin travels through my tank, it leaves a clean cut path through the corraline that looks very similar. Just checking to be sure that wasn't the case. I think you need some CUC.

I would add some hermits to stir the sand bed/CC. You can't effectively use nassarius snails due to the size of the crushed coral.
Also, do you have an urchin?

I don't have a scribbled, I have an orange spotted. He doesn't do much for me, and is poisonous. Not worth having to keep an eye out for him while cleaning, in my opinion.
