Yeah they are usually sold as a flat skeleton with the tissue running along the edge. Did not know they grew like balls in the wild. Will google some pics. Thank you for the info.

Remember do not put the water from the bag into your tank though. strain the critters into a net in your sink, or a container by the tank, then put the critters in the tank and throw the water away.

It could be either sand or Ich. I would just keep him in qt until you can come up with a definite answer. I would also not put the tonga branch in the display. Ich can travel with it if it is Ich.
