If it is coloring up again you are doing well by it. Keep up what you are doing and make sure to feed it...

In my opinion you are doing what you need to do with the dehumidifier and using green board if that is what you are going to use. You should be okay. The exhaust fan in place for added protection...

Remember do not put the water from the bag into your tank though. strain the critters into a net in your sink, or a container by the tank, then put the critters in the tank and throw the water away.

It could be either sand or Ich. I would just keep him in qt until you can come up with a definite answer. I would also not put the tonga branch in the display. Ich can travel with it if it is Ich.
