i tried a sixline wrasse, didn't work, flatworm...
i tried a sixline wrasse, didn't work, flatworm exit worked great. freshwater dips only work on coral but you need to treat the rock in your tank too.

you will need to clean it out. siphon should work. if you use a filter sock to catch all the debris it will help. it will need to be changed every couple of days

doubt if the bubbles caused the issue, but the tissue loss could have caused the skimmer to act up. if i have something die, it causes my skimmer to act up for a day or so. just my thoughts
