I have a 90 with a 30 gallon sump on my laminant floor on a slab.
I have never moved the tank so I hope it is still ok.

I never have had a problem with my tank even getting one degree too cold.

If the rock is cured, and stays wet it shouldn't cause a cycle. OR
You could cure it in a separate container, or the old tank. Then add it to your tank without a problem.

From what I thought I knew about electricity. This would be wrong. So I put my kill a watt meter on my 9.5 and got 76 watts. I closed the ball valve a bit, and it went down to 69 watts. I don't know...

You should mix the saltwater in a separate container, with a power head. I would use a new five gallon bucket.
I use IO and it takes a little less than three cups of salt per 5 gallons of rodi.
