I use the close-up mode with no flash. I usually turn the room lights off so I don't have any reflections off the glass. It helps when you rest the camera on something when you take the pictures.

I had one shed its crown about a month ago. It is just now starting to regrow, the feathers are about an inch long right now.
I feed DT's phyto to my tank every other day.
