Your nitrates at 20 could use some improvement...

Your nitrates at 20 could use some improvement and may indicate an overall problem with your tank. "Salt at 26" is kind of low. Salinity at 35 ppm is better for a reef and closer to normal seawater....

rsteagall, why did you dip them in freshwater? Were you afraid of them having flukeworms? I cant think of any other reason to dip corals in freshwater.

Same here Jmick. I love their stuff but when the alk tests were found to be bad they were very slow to take responsibility and then didnt really hurry to respond to the problem, at least here on RC...

I have been using the Tropic Marin kit for alk...

I have been using the Tropic Marin kit for alk and love it. It is the easiest I have found. I still have Salifert kits left for everything else.
