I have tryed a few wall hammers over the years, And realy never had as much luck with them as i do with the branching type. Atleast with the branching type if you get a bad head you can cut it off...

I dont see any prob with that as long as your tank is ready for them. i would think you would worry more about that if you were adding a bunch of fish.
