My G. Term is very active. His best friend is a six line wrasse. I keep him supplied with plenty of small hermits (his favorite) and he leaves the fish and clams alone.

Coralline bad in skimmer?

I recently added a fuge area in my sump. Now I have coralline algae growing on the inside of my skimmer. Is this harming anything? It still seems to work well.

Thanks

I sit 5 feet away from my G. Term. and it's about the same volume as snapping my fingers in front of me. You'll also notice a lot of broken hermit and snail shells in your tank if you have one.

I have a G. Tern in my 24 with a 6 line wrasse and they play together. As long as I keep the tank stocked with hermits, everything is fine. There's also a long spine urchin in there as well.

Mantis and sixline are best friends

A few months ago I set up a 24 AP for Osama, a teardrop maxima, spiny urchin, and a sixline wrasse. The mantis ate 8 hermits and went in hiding to molt. He has recently appeared, much larger and...

My Lawn Mower Blenny is more than capable of holding his own with a large rabbit, large damsel, and a mean little dottyback. He'll actually take food away from the other fish while they're eating!

My G. Tern. (Osama) lives with a damsel and a dottyback. The dottyback actually explores Osama's cave when he's out hunting. So far he just eats little hermits and an occasional snail.
