When I need to raise my salinity I take gallon of RO/DI water and mix it with my reef salt. I make it much higher than my salinity in my tank, but low enough where there's not salt floating around....

What are your calcium levels at? They sometimes loose limbs while molting or right after because they're vulnerable. If you're calcium is where it should be around 400 ppm it makes it easier for them...

Also very true. But I would think that chances are if her tank is 6 months old that the resin would be ok unless you have awful water :). My resin is color changing when it starts to get used up...

This is hands down the best way to acclimate anything. If I wasn't so damn lazy I'd do it this way. But seeing as I am I put them in a bucket with the LFS water and drip them in for 2 or 3 hours.

Just pick them off and put him back in the tank.. If you want to be safe you can rinse him and off in a cup of water from your tank to wash off the spores and throw away the water.
