my 9010 never produced any skimmate despite recs from roger. i had to put a wooden airstone in it to work. ending up getting a new skimmer

some of the goby's are very shy and don't feed...
some of the goby's are very shy and don't feed well. they also don't like high flow. get one of the gobies that pair with the pistol shrimps. they're pretty kewl.

you can keep a SSB in a nano without problems. ...
you can keep a SSB in a nano without problems. just gets some ceriths to stir it up. or you can replace it and exhange out small amounts.
