I don't think there is any blame on the club members, it just seems to me that he did not want to get (for lack of a bettter term) burned again. I saw first hand the work involved with that group...

Depending on which way the floor joists go, it could be possible. You could also add some structure to it with more joists and or braces, without the beef up I would not do it though.

I had a terrible Bryopsis problem, I got REAL lucky with a lawn mower blenny, all I did was aclimate and put him in. 3 days later no more bry, and none since. Good Luck.
