does any one know if i can keep a bubble tip anemone in a 12gallon aquapod with the standard lights? 1 27 watt actnican 1 27 watt 6700k and 10000k split bulb.

i tried to find the cf bulbs in 6500k with reflectors but the ordering lead time in my area is 6 - 8 weeks. easisier to get bulbs and order the the reflectors seperately.

i went to lowes and got 8 of their 6500k energy smart screw in compact flourescent daylight bulbs and installed them over my 70 gallon reef. they are in my opinion just as good as the 6500k metal...

i work for an electrical companyand the rule is never touch the glass of any halide bulb. always use gloves and if you do touch it definatly clean it off before turning it back on.
