no pictures, But imagine a large 1.5 inch long by .75 inch wide slug/flatworm and oval in shape. About the size of a quarter if it got squished on the traintracks. dark gray with green and brown...

rather than going after it with actual steal wool, I have been using the "artifical" plastic kinds of scrubbers and sponges. Works pretty good.

I have a 5 gal that has no skimmer. I put a skimmer on both my 20gals. The junk in there has to be removed somehow. Either by good regular water changes or skimmers and water changes a little less...

I dont know about hagerty, but grundy is something like 8000 a year. BUT if you want to drive it to a show in SC or something like that you can just call them and get an additional mileage allowance.

they were talking about that 1.024 number. I tested my local beachwater to be about 1.026 too. The general idea is because at 1.024 they can say you get 200 gallons, vs 180 at 1.026.

I have had luck with covering them in joes juice/kalk paste. Just let it sit on the bugger and it seems to kill the spores. Have had only one bubble appear in the last 9 months in my 3 tanks.
