CSL ballast

Hey,
I have an almost new 36 watt CSL UV sterilizer that just smoked its own innards. (Fortunately, I was home at the time:smokin: )

Anyway, they're out of biz and not honoring warranties...so...

Yes...the endcap was melting on mine when I got it unplugged. Not sure what malfunctioned inside to cause the problem...it's all full of broken bulb and crispy wires!

Beware CustomSea Life UV sterilizers

Just had a 5 month old CustomSeaLife UV sterilizer literally catch on fire. Thank goodness I was home and smelled the smoke. No interuption in water supply or any other reason I could find for it...
