I recently saw a Calico crab at my LFS, and i was wondering about them. I would love to have one, but am a bit hesitant. What is their primary diet, are the reef safe, and has anyone kept one before....

Is the tank cycled? If so, your ammonia levels...

Is the tank cycled? If so, your ammonia levels should be at 0.00! Maybe something else died in the tank causing the spike. My guess it the the Ammonia is what killed the fish.
