They plan to get a shipment in tomorrow morning, but today's snowstorm had the 2 airports jammed...

I have found that color is most responsive to good Ph and Alk readings. I have also found that Unstable Temperature can also mess with color.

This may be tough with Sand. If I ever change substrates I am going back to Crushed Coral. The sandstorm get really annoying over time. I am using southdown sand. Not sure the grain size....

Fill the collection cup with boiling water first....
Fill the collection cup with boiling water first. It will soften up the plastic and allow you to tap a hole without it shattering. Drill the cup while the water is still in it.
