I just feed the fish first and then use a turkey...
I just feed the fish first and then use a turkey baster to feed the polyps. The residual food continues to feed the fish/inverts.

I had one in my hammer for almost a year and it was very active. Was doing well till I sold it, I was suprised it lived. I would give credit to DT's mroe than anything else.

Why not just use 45lb's for the 34g? I think 70 might be full unless you use denser rock. I would start with that and after its full of corals it'll be packed.

With the polyps closed I would shake the "crud" off lightly in a bucket of sw that way it wont have to have it cure and rot in the main tank.
